The County Middle School's softball team has advanced to the state finals. After years of no achievement, the new Parks and Recreation ball field turned out to be the key to their recruitment and successful practices. Coach Edwards says he couldn't have developed the skills of the kids with the old field that doubled as a softball practice area for years. Thanks to the insightful County Commissioners who provided the funding.
